Beachside apartment with communal pools, gym, children's play area, sauna and jacuzzi. Near the famous La Manga golf course.
Nestled between the Mar Menor sea and the hills of the Calblanque nature park, the apartment is situated just 1 minute's walk from the beach on the Mar Menor sea.
The sea is very safe and shallow, never getting deeper than 7 metres, and always very warm.
Ideal for families. There are many different types of water sports, from scuba diving and water skiing to wind surfing. Some of these sports have their own international schools nearby. The Mar Menor sea is always so calm it is like a mirror. For those who like the rugged coastlines and waves, the Mediterranean is just a 5-10 minute drive away.
Besides the famous La Manga golf and spa complex, there are many other golf courses in the area. Or you could take a Ferry trip to the many dramatic islands of the Mar Menor.
The apartment complex is based in the genuinely Spanish town of Playa Honda (which means "Deep Beach"). There are a couple of bars and Spanish restaurants within a short walk, as well as a well-stocked supermarket. A short drive away are several more international restaurants, and a larger supermarket.
There are local genuinely Spanish markets that sell anything from food to jewellery and clothes.
The Calablanque Nature Park is very nearby, offering remote white sandy beaches, and a short drive or bicycle trip away is the lovely Marina and fishing port of Cabo de Palos, with lovely beaches, bays and inlets. Known locally for its great fish restaurants, using freshly caught produce. With one of the prittiest quays in the area, this marina town has a famous 19th century lighthouse perched on top the cliffs. From here you can see the whole of La Manga.
The apartment is situated in a popular complex which features indoor and outdoor communal pools, as well as a sauna, spa, gym and a play area for children. Sleeping 6, there is a double bed, 2 single beds, and a double sofa bed. Underground secure parking is available at the complex.
Not available for a home swap between July and August.
Our Neighbourhood 
The area is very good for families, with the beach and sea being within within walking distance. The sea is always very calm, and good for water sports.
For those wanting culture and history, Cartagena and Murcia offer this in abundance. There is a Roman amphitheatre at Cartagena.
The shopping in these cities is pretty good too!!
Golf is in abundance, including the world famous La Manga golf resort, with its championship courses.
The pretty coastal towns of Los Belones and Cabo de Palos are great for restaurants, and of course they have genuine local markets.

We are a family ofjust two adults.
I'm afraid that our apartment is not available for a home swap between July and August.
