Our Neighbourhood Beach

Maroubra is a beachside eastern suburb of Sydney, 10 minutes from airport, 20 minutes from Opera House and Harbour Bridge, 2 minutes from white sand, surfing beach. In fact the beach still has a wild beauty as the southern headland has not been built upon.

The surf at Maroubra is regarded as the best in Sydney but calm little bays great for children are only 10 minutes away. The nearest suburb, Coogee, 5 minutes drive,is very lively and a mecca for travellers, full of bars, restaurants. The famous coastal walk to Bondi along the cliff face is accessible from Maroubra. Direct transport to city, beaches, airport almost at door, but street is dead quiet and lined with nice homes mainly from the 1930's. All amenities such as banks, suoermarkets, restaurants are a 2 minute walk.
