Our Home
Lovely home with a large deck and front yard in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Comfy couches in living room, queen size canopy bed in master bedroom. 2 children's bedrooms sleep 3 total. TV room has a large couch that could sleep one additional person. Well-equipped kitchen and a gas grill out back.
There is a basement apartment with tenants, who are very quiet and friendly people.
We own a Toyota Sienna minvan, which has 8 seats and a large trunk. You are welcome to use it while you are here, and we can even leave it at the airport for you to drive it back to the house.
Our Neighbourhood
Appr. 10 min. drive to city center, close to bus stops. Beautiful area with river and hiking trails very close by. Reykjavik's one beach, which has heated ocean water is appr. 10 min. drive away. Grocery stores and bakery are within walking distance.
About Us
We are a family of 5, husband and wife and 3 children ages 3, 7, and 14. Husband is a mathematics professor at Reykjavik University, and wife is a psychiatric nurse at Landspitali University Hospital. We are laid-back and love to travel anywhere in the world!
