Spacious, Homely And Bright

Our Home

Our large modern house is set in a quiet rural area, but is within two hours drive of Dublin, Belfast, Donegal and Galway. Hill walking in the Mourne Mountains, The Cuilcagh Mountains and Ben Bulbin to name a few are all easily within 2 hours too.In fact, nearly everywhere in the northern part of Ireland is within 2 hours drive.

More about this property

The house was built in 2004/2005 and has all modern facilities including a large kitchen and dining area, 2 living rooms, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a very large garden of about 0.5 hectare. If required, there is plenty of outside and indoor play equipment for little ones, such as a trampoline, swings, goal posts, balls, a children’s wooden den and lots of space. There are lots of walking and cycling routes nearby. An 18 hole golf course is less than 1 kilometre away. If you are interested in fishing there are numerous fishing sites in our locality.

Clones has a population of about 2000 people and has supermarkets, butchers, restaurants, pubs and a Gaelic football stadium that hosts several important Gaelic football matches each summer including the Ulster Final each July. The towns origins date from the sixth century and there are lots of ancient monuments in the area, including an ancient Round Tower where locals sheltered from Viking raids.

Dublin is less than 2 hours drive, Belfast is about 1hr 30 mins, Donegal just over one hour and Galway is a little over 2 hours drive. Newgrange is about 1hr 15 mins drive. The use of a car would be essential in our location and we have 2 cars, either of which might be available to include in an exchange subject to discussion.

We have one cat. A once a day feeding of the cat would be nice but not essential as she can be catered for by friends.

We are open to all offers. Our preferences at present are to visit France in July/August 2012. All enquires will be acknolwedged within 48 hours.
