Our Home
Our home is located in the suburban town of Gerasdorf, just outside the city limits of Vienna. Besides the two bedrooms, each with a queen+ bed, there are two offices with hi-speed Internet and wireless access; we also have digital satellite TV with channels in many languages. In addition to a living space of ca.
140sqm on two levels, there is a full basement and one-car garage plus parking space. The living/dining room opens onto a spacious deck, and there is a balcony outside the master bedroom upstairs. The house is furnished in part with Biedermeier antiques, artwork and Oriental rugs. Our natural garden features wildflowers and fruit trees. Some yardwork will be necessary during growing season and in the fall.

Our Neighbourhood
Public transportation and/or park and ride by bus and commuter train or subway to the city is available. Vienna with all its cultural activities - 3 opera houses, 2 main concert halls, countless theatres and museums - is a short ride away, not to mention Salzburg with its festivals, the skiing and lake resorts in western and southern Austria.
Vienna is conveniently located in the heart of Europe and is a perfect home base from which to explore the rest of the Continent.
About Us
We are an Austro/American couple in our 60s and experienced exchangers. Guido is a retired software engineer and was in telecommunications management with a major European electronics company; Liz has a Ph.D. in Germanics and Italian and many years of experience in adult and university education and is semi-retired.
We speak English, German, Italian, French, and basic Spanish. We are scrupulous about keeping a neat and clean household and will do the same for yours. We seek exchanges with similarly well-maintained homes and exchangers who will take good care of our property, too. We love to travel in France from our property in Austria, ca. March-July. We are also available for exchanges within N. America with our Florida condo ca. Sept.-Jan. References available on request.
