Southwest Kerry is renowned for its spectacular scenery and breathtaking coastline. Home to the Skelligs UNESCO World Heritage Site and numerous other important archaeological sites, such as the Staigue Fort, Cahergal Fort, Derrynane House and the Barracks.
The area is also renowned for its world class golf courses with the Championship Links course at Waterville. Dooks and Ballybunion are also nearby and the latest addition the Skellig Bay golf course. Walking, cycling, angling, horse-riding, diving and watersports are other popular pursuits in the area. The property is located just outside the picturesque village of Waterville, famous for its golf courses and award winning restaurants. Visitors to the area include Tiger Woods, Mark O'Meara, Michael Douglas, Cathering Zeta Jones, Richard Corrigan and Charlie Chaplin.
