Very nice one-bedroom condo in one of the best locations in Budapest.
Circa 750 sq ft, on the third (top) floor of a walk-up building, with all the windows overlooking a green park. South-west exposure, sunny and quiet, with high ceilings. Wired and wireless internet, cable TV, free international phone calls.
The apartment is in great shape, the building could use a renovation.
Please, no smokers and no pets.
We live (literally) next door so we can help you with any questions you might have during your visit to Budapest.
The exchange can be non-simultaneous, and short-term rental is possible as well.
Our Neighbourhood
The condo is located on Hunyadi square, near Oktogon and Andrassy Avenue. One of the last surviving old Market Halls is located on the far side of the square, with the traditional outdoor morning Farmers' Market in front of it.
Despite being next to the most happening locations, the neighborhood still has the feeling of a small, quiet village.
Everything is nearby: public transportation (including the old subway), pubs, cafes and restaurants, theaters, concerts etc.
About Us
We are a professional couple, non-smokers, with two small (and extremely well-behaving, we are told :) ) children aged five and two.
We are native Hungarians, but I lived in the United States for ten years, and my wife got her Master's degree in journalism at Berkeley.
