Our Home
Heritage-listed two-bedroom terraced house, situated halfway between the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, across the road and down some steps to the waters of Sydney Harbour.
Our Neighbourhood
At the seat of Australia's first colony, established in 1788, and within easy walking distance of many heritage areas, including the Sydney Harbour Bridge (and Bridge Climb).
The Opera House, theatres, art galleries, city shopping, The Rocks Craft Markets (including a growers' market), the ferry wharves at Circular Quay (ferries to the Zoo, Manly beaches, Vaucluse, Parramatta, etc), buses to Bondi Beach.
There are many coffee lounges, cafes and restaurants close by. There is an L-shaped courtyard/backyard on the property, where one can sit outside in the sun, listening, surprisingly, to birds. There is parking in the small street outside the house. This is the smallest street in Sydney, having as it does just six terraced houses in it.
About Us
I am a retired woman, and a serious photographer and lover of art and architecture. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, and I will be travelling alone.
