Our Home

Our home is lovely 2 double bedroom Victorian house (dating back to 1850) with period features and a large back garden. The bathroom and kitchen are modern. We are located on a quiet residential street in Zone 2 of north-east central London. There are many shops, cafes bars, restaurants and a lovely large park all a short walk away.

Our Neighbourhood

We are one street away from a lovely park, containing deer and a cafe, and on a quiet street in trendy Stoke Newington Church Street, containing attractive bars, cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Stoke Newington is an area of London about 4 miles north of the City and West End.

More about the neighbourhood

It was originally a village and still retains a bit of an alternative character of its own. It is now a very popular area with professional families and artists. The range of restaurants is particularly good and the large local park is a very relaxed place to spend a few hours. We are close to Islington which also has many shops, bars, restaurants & a great atmosphere. There is a fantastic local theatre in Islington (The Almeida). There are many buses that leave just around the corner that go to all over London locations.

About Us

We are in our mid-thirties. Matt is from New Zealand and a lawyer, working now in legal consultancy. I, Natalie, am English and work as an office manager for a charity. We both have Australian citizenship and have lived in Sydney for several years.

We bought our apartment three years ago and have now completed 6 successful exchanges - and we're hooked!
