Cyprus Villa
Our Home
Modern three-bedroom, three-bathroom Mediterranean-style villa with swimming pool and outside shower room/toilet. On the edge of a Cypriot village, 5 minutes' drive from a sandy beach, 10 minutes from city and just over one hour from the top of Troodos mountains.
Downstairs is open-plan and includes a modern kitchen with an eating area and a utility room. The living area has lounge and dining areas and a guest toilet. There is one double bedroom downstairs with en-suite facilities, a kitchenette and a separate entrance. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one of which has en-suite facilities, and there is also a family bathroom.
There is also a study, but this is not available for the use of visitors.
Our Neighbourhood
Our villa is on the edge of a Cypriot village, and has views over Episkopi Bay and the surrounding hills, towards a goat farm on the western side, and over a valley with fields in front.
We are five minutes' walk from the village high street, with supermarket, bank, newsagents, restaurant, bars and other shops.
There are buses to the city twice a day.
10 minutes' drive to edge of Limassol, and 20 minutes to the centre.
Ruins of the Graeco/Roman city of Curium 5 minutes' drive away.
The beach is 5 minutes away, by car or bike.
We are centrally placed for day trips all over the island.
About Us
Early retired, non smoking UK couple living in Cyprus. We are coming to Australia on 14th January 2010 for four months to visit our son and his wife and baby son who live in Manly, Sydney, though we will be doing some trips away during that time.
We seek any type of accommodation in Manly or nearby for any time period from two weeks upwards during that period. We offer our whole home in exchange during June or early July 2010, or just the downstairs guest suite as a hospitality exchange after we are back in July. We are an active couple with a lot of experience looking after property, both our own and other people's, and we would treat your home with the greatest of care.
