Our Home
Nice apartment (65 m²) in the centre of Buenos Aires, in the theatre district, on Avenida Corrientes, eight blocks from the Obelisco. Metro B on the corner, and close to everything (Centro, Palermo, Recoleta, San Telmo, Puerto Madero).
There is a small kitchen, a living room, and two bedrooms (one with a queen size bed, and the other with twin beds). There is also a sofa bed in the living room.
There is a full bathroom as well as a smaller wash room.
The apartment can accomodate four people comfortably, and up to five people, using the sofa bed in the living room.
Children welcome!
No smoking, no pets.
Our Neighbourhood
Avenida Corrientes, "The street that never sleeps", is one of the principal thoroughfares of Buenos Aires, the Argentine capital. This street is intimately associated with the tango and closely reflects the identity of the "porteños", as the inhabitants of Buenos Aires are popularly called.
You can walk to Recoleta (about 15 blocks), to Avenida 9 de Julio (8 blocks) and Calle Florida, the Abasto Shopping Centre is only 13 blocks away, and Alto Palermo Shopping Mall and Palermo Soho are easily accessible by metro or bus. Supermarkets, tango shops, shoe shops - you can find anything and everything around here.
Buenos Aires has a very vibrant cultural life, with all kinds of entertainment, a wide variety of restaurants, shows of various kinds, casinos etc - in fact, all that you need for a wonderful holiday.
Also, in a couple of hours by plane, you can get to many different natural environment, like the lakes and mountains of Patagonia, the Cataratas del Iguazú, and the gorgeous landscapes of Salta and Jujuy in the north of the country. Just come and enjoy it all!
About Us
We are a couple in our early forties and love to travel.In general it is only the 2 of us who travel, but sometimes we could be a group of four adults.
Our apartment is available all the year round as we do not live there regularly (it is our second home).
We have several great swap experiences (Miami,New York, Sarasota, Paris and Brussels).
