Our Home

Our home is a charming, clean, modernised, one-bedroom Victorian terraced ground-level apartment with a garden, on a quiet road in north London - a relaxing oasis for your visit.

Living room with original Victorian features, cable TV, DVD player and broadband WiFi (and you are welcome to use our computer).

Wooden floorboards.

Lovely and cool in the summer, and centrally heated in the winter.

The apartment has an established semi-tropical garden, which offers a delightful outdoor space throughout the spring and summer, complete with birds and squirrels.

Can sleep up to four people if needed, since there is a sofa bed in the lounge for extra guests.

We have a young tabby cat (fully house-trained, warm and friendly), which can stay to keep you company if you like - but we can also accommodate him elsewhere if necessary. And we will happily look after your pets in your home, if you have any.

However, no smoking, please!

Our Neighbourhood

The apartment is situated near Turnpike Lane and its tube station (four minutes' walk away; zone 3 on the Piccadilly Line), with direct trains into the West End which take twenty minutes, and also direct trains to Heathrow).

Great transport links (railway, tube and bus, including a night bus), and close to shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, high street shopping, and a small park/green.

About Us

We are two professional females in our forties. Anna is a ceramicist (and ex-art teacher), and Alison is a freelance designer/sculptor.

We are looking for a home for two to eight weeks in Taupo or Wellington, New Zealand (preferably in New Zealand's spring or summer).

However, we are also interested in all other parts of the world, as we enjoy travelling. Our favourite places include Mexico, Western Europe, Egypt, Africa and the Pacific Islands.
