Our Home

Our 3/4 bedroom home is in Eltham, Greenwich, South East London. A 1930’s semi detached property, recently renovated throughout and south facing garden. Off street parking and negotiable car swap.

There is a large master bedroom containing a super-king size bed and an en-suite shower room; the second bedroom contains a double bed and the third is a single bedroom and currently houses a cot bed but can be replaced with a single bed if required. The fourth bedroom is double in size but is currently used for office/storage purposes, although could be made available if necessary. There is an additional main bathroom containing a bath/shower.
The front living room has a small double sofa bed within it and can be closed off from the rest of the house if required. There is a large open space kitchen diner and further reception area, to the rear of the property opening straight on to a decked area and the remainder of the garden.

We have swaps arranged until November 2012 and are therefore currently only looking for swaps in Australia from then until May 2013.

Our Neighbourhood

The house is on a quiet and pleasant residential street, away from busy tourist areas. We are in close proximity to Oxleas woods, and other woodland areas popular for walkers.
We have good transport links with the nearest bus stop a five minute walk; the nearest train station a ten minute walk and the M25 motorway a ten minute drive.

We are well located for all London airports (which are between 5 and 45 miles from our home); the City of London (a 25 minute train journey), and are well positioned for travel to Kent (often known as ‘The Garden of England’), Essex, Surrey and other Counties
We have numerous historical sites within our Borough including the Cutty Sark, Eltham Palace, Greenwich park (GMT line) and Royal observatory, plus ample museums, and many other attractions including The O2 entertainment venue (previously known as the Millennium Dome). We are also a short distance from the Olympic park and many other venues for London 2012, along with the well known Bluewater and Lakeside shopping centres.
In addition, we have plenty of theatres, cinemas, parks, sports centres, markets, and restaurants in easy reach.

About Us

We are a professional (and very friendly) couple with a fantastic opportunity to travel over the next year or so before our two year old daughter reaches school age.
