Our Home
The chalet is ideally situated in the Swiss Alps, and has just been totally renovated.
Gryon is a genuine and typical old village, just next to Villars-sur-Ollon, the most fashionable resort in French-speaking Switzerland.
On the ground floor there is a library/ living room with a modern wood-burning stove, a bedroom (with a large bed) and a bathroom.
On the first floor there is a living/dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom, plus a large terrasse and balconies.
On the second floor there is a twin-bedded room with a bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped, with oven, fridge, grill, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.
The chalet is in a dominating position overlooking the village, with views over the surrounding peaks.
Our Neighbourhood 
My best advice is that you Google to find the Gryon site, which also has an English version, and then click on "Images" to see the sceneries.
A free bus to the cable cars (700 meters away) stops just in front of the chalet.
There are a hundred and twenty kilometres of ski tracks, and you also can ski across the Glacier des Diablerets (at 3,200 metres' altitude).
If you like sun and snow but are not keen on skiing, there is still plenty to do for a pleasant stay.
This region is also a green paradise during the summertime, with lakes, waterfalls, wildlife, goats, cows, Alpine cheeses, and good local wines.
About Us
I am a retired hotelier, and a Swiss citizen.
We lived in Scotland for fifteen years, and love the British way of life, which we still miss.
Chantal likes to live in a town, and I like the mountains, which is why we split our leisure time between Vichy and Gryon (450 km away, or six hours' drive).
As new "geenee"we can offer non simultaneous exchange, we would prefer first to welcome our hosts for the "know-how" in our chalet and only later have holidays in our exchange.But every thing is possible.
