Our Home

Our apartment is on a small estate in South Hampstead, on the borders of St John's Wood.

It's on two floors, and nobody lives above or below us.

We have a patio, and a tiny back garden.

Our home is very central, and is just five minutes' walk from the nearest underground station, Swiss Cottage, and the overground railway station of South Hampstead is just across the road.

There are many buses within a couple of minutes' walk.

The apartment is in excellent condition, and very comfortable.

Downstairs, there are two bedrooms (one with a new sofa bed), an underfloor-heated walk-in shower room, a utility room and a toilet.

Upstairs, on the first floor where you enter the apartment, there is a kitchen, with a table which seats six, and a sitting-room, which leads onto the patio.

Our Neighbourhood

Although our home is very central, it's also very peaceful.

We are at the back of the block, around which is a small road, and just over the road is St John's Wood, and in the opposite direction is Swiss Cottage.

More about the neighbourhood

There you will find all the shops you may need, plus a newly re-developed multi-screen cinema, a good theatre, a leisure centre and a library.

We are within walking distance of Hampstead and Hampstead Heath, and also of Regent's Park and Primrose Hill.

About Us

I am studying contemporary basketry, and my husband is a civil servant.

We would like to swap with someone in New England especially, where there is access to swimming. Could be a shack, or a house - we don't mind.
