Bungalow On Pacific Beach In Guatemala
Our Home
We have a property on a tropical Pacific beach. It has a lush, green garden with fifty coconut palms and private pool, in front of a huge and clean beach.
Beside our own house we've built a bungalow for rentals. It is well equipped and furnished, with air condition in the main bedroom and a dining table on the terrace.
We will consider swapping this for a holiday home in Britain for a couple of weeks in July.
Our Neighbourhood 
The surroundings are very peaceful, with single family holiday houses along the beach.
There are no big hotels nearby, but there are some small local shops.
The closest centre is Monterrico, six kilometres down the main road, and you can find some good restaurants four kilometres away.
There is a nature reserve with a river and mangrove forest just two kilometres from the sea front, and you can rent boats there.
With a car, you can go on day trips to climb vulcanos, and visit Mayan villages or Antigua.
About Us
I come from Scandinavia, but have lived and worked in Spanish-speaking countries for a long time.
My wife is Guatemalan.
I'm now semi-retired and live with my wife in her beautiful country.
