One-bedroom Garden Apartment
Garden flat-double bedroom and open plan kitchen/living room in the fashionable, highly sort after Chiswick, London W4. Close to buses, underground stations (zone2) shops, restaurants,museums,galleries, theatre, river Thames.
My one bedroom is garden flat (is in the Centre of Chiswick} - and is spacious and large and on the ground floor of a late Victorian house. The living room, 22'x 25' and has original high ceilings with original cornices and features, with a marble original fireplace and original pine wooden floors. The kitchen is open plan facing the living room. I have many books combined with paintings and objects, and the living room is both my studio and reception room. I have two sofas and a large glass table - the feel is contemporary and modern with traditional features - though not minimal in look.
The ensuite double bedroom (15'x18')is also spacious and large, filled with books and pictures with french windows leading out on to a decked seating area and a large garden. My flat is my living and working space and therefore, a home and should be viewed in terms of a swop and like for like.
The flat is right in the centre of Chiswick W4. Chiswick is one of the most fashionable, residential areas of London. it is an artistic community, and home to many artists, actors, musicians, and other media. My flat is central to many shops and restaurants and also in walking distance to the River Thames, with its many pubs and walks.
Chiswick House, Chiswick Park are also in walking distance. Buses and Trains are a few minutes away (Turnham Green and Stamford Brook underground Station (zone 2, giving easy access to theatres, galleries and museums. Heathrow airport is the closest airport and the Picadilly line goes direct to Hammersmith.

Since my flat is in a very fashionable part of London, and has the added asset of a large garden, (in the front and back of the house) - rare in London, and centrally situated, I am looking for a comparable exchange.
