Sunset Island Apartment

Our Neighbourhood

The apartment is located on the outskirts of Kuah, the main town in Langkawi.

There are many places to eat within walking distance, as well as shops and a few bars. However, I would recommend hiring a car, which is not expensive.

The apartment is in a secure complex, and overlooks the best swimming pool on the island.

There is also a paddling pool for young children.

The island of Langkawi is a very safe and very friendly holiday destination. Its beaches, food, people and natural wildlife are its attractions, and the island was recently declared a Geopark by UNESCO.

Great for a chilled holiday, immersed in nature, and very inexpensive for eating out.

The island is also a duty-free state.

The best attraction though is the weather, which varies between 28 and 34 degrees all year. Total bliss!

About Us

My wife and myself are 46, with daughters who are now 19 and 18.

We are both professional people, and my wife has run her own catering company for the past fourteen years at a prestigious venue in Northamptonshire.

More about us

We are not sure if or daughters will be joining us on our future holidays, but they are both responsible individuals who share the same standards and respect for other people's property as we do.

We are new to the holiday-exchange arena, but have no issues in providing whatever details are required about ourselves in order to build up our history on Geenee.

We are widely travelled, and like to travel whenever we have time.

We know the island intimately, and would be happy to advise any prospective exchangers on making the best use of their time in Langkawi.
