Our Home

Our house has been recently refurbished. It's open plan, light and sunny with private landscaped front and back gardens. We have three friendly cats, but they can be boarded if preferred.

The house is equipped with brand new kitchen appliances and newly fitted bathroom with bath and separate shower.

In terms of technology, we have a 32" Sony Bravia LCD TV, 8mb Broadband internet with an Apple Imac.

The downstairs is completely open plan - kitchen, diner, lounge and study. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one single bedroom and the bathroom.

There is parking available.

The house is situated in a private estate in Blackheath, it's very safe, secure and quiet. The estate gardens and roads are maintained beautifully, so your walk to the train station will be enjoyable!


Our Neighbourhood

Blackheath is famous for its huge open space and village feel (check it out on Google Earth - Type in "Blackheath, Greater London") and neighbours Greenwich park (just scroll north to view). Located in zone 3 it's a 15 minute train ride straight into London Bridge.

From there you can walk to the Tate Modern or the city, alternatively you can connect with the Jubilee line and Northern Line for the London Underground. Blackheath has numerous bars, restaurants and cafes as well as independent shops and a farmers market on Sunday.

Greenwich is a short stroll North across the heath. From the house you can easily walk to the royal observatory and park, home of Greenwich meantime. There is a vibrant weekend flea market and a number of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Greenwich is on the "Docklands Light Railway" making it easy to get to Canary Wharf for more shopping, admiring the architecture, or more bars and restaurants. You can take the Docklands trains to Bank for a scenic trip into town.

If you're a runner, the heath and Greenwich park are perfect for a morning escapade, and there are a range of leisure activites on offer in Greenwich such as swimming and tennis in the park.


About Us

We are Oliver (29) and Rachael (32), and we both work for the National Health Service. Out three cats are called Ginny, Vega and Stella - and they love strangers (sometimes more than us which is worrying). They are very easy to look after, and there are no litter trays to contend with!
