Our Neighbourhood

We're on a quiet road towards the east of town, 10 mins walk from the station (rail link to London, 20 mins), and 5 mins from beautiful Clarence Park. Local shops and supermarket within walking distance.

The historic centre of St Albans is 20 mins walk away, with beautiful cathedral, Roman remains, theatre, swimming pool, museum and excellent shopping and restaurants.

The Hertfordshire countryside outside the city is lovely with many great walks and pubs - well worth exploring. Hatfield House, Knebworth, and Whipsnade Zoo are all within striking distance.


About Us

We have a young family, so there are plenty of toys, games and videos to be enjoyed. We have a great many books to browse through. There are various outside games - balls, frisbees, etc. that can be taken to the park (garden a bit narrow for ball games).

Vegetable plot at the end of the garden might need a bit of watering depending on the time of year!
