Our Home

My house is a comfortable, 3 bedroom, brick and tile home on 5 acres in the Byron Shire hinterland. There are magnificent views over macadamia plantations and farmland to The Nightcap Ranges. There is a large garden and orchard which attacts a large range of colourful parrots and other birds.

Byron Bay is one of Australia's premier holiday locations and is only a 30 minute scenic drive away, as is Ballina, Lismore and Mullumbimby. 1 hr will get you to The Gold Coast and all it's attractions.

Our Neighbourhood BeachGolf

Although the area is rural, it is not isolated. Federal Village is only mins away and it has a general store with Post Office, bottle shop, video library and anything else you need. It has a great community feel. There are film nights, yoga classes, tennis and lots more happening if you want to join in.

Federal is also home to one of the area's best restaurants and has its own cafe for somewhere more casual. There are friendly neighbours close enough if you need them, but far enough away to make it very private.

About Us

I am a wanderer that has stayed still too long. I love where I live and would always want to come back, but looking forward to new adventures. I work with the Byron Council's Childrens Services and most of the work that can't be done by computer occurs during NSW school holidays, so I need to be home for them. Otherwise I am open to suggestions.
