this beautiful 18th century farmhouse is situated on top of ewanrigg lonning which has breath taking views of the sea and the surrounding rolling hills and nearby fishing port of maryport. it is located half an hours' drive from cockermouth, one of the oldest and most picturesque towns in the Lake District and is very quiet and peaceful.

there are streams and wooded areas all around the house as well and being in amongst the fields with sheep, cows and horses in them.it's a great spot for dog lovers and walkers or hikers too.

Our Neighbourhood Beach

the road to the farm is only used by the locals and a few people who walk their dogs. it is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the british countryside.
the lake ditrict is famous worldwide for its lakes and mountains, rivers, waterfalls and historic buildings.

the nearby town of maryport is a quiet fishing village with a lot of character and you can walk there in about 20 minutes to half an hour. its a 5 minute drive from the farmhouse!!!the bach is a little north of maryport town, past the golf course.about 10 miles away.and cockermouth is about 20 miles east into the lake ditrict about 15 km south is the industrial town of workington where you can shop to your hearts content, it has all the CBD need like cinemas and fast food places. so it's near all types of geography.

About Us

we wish to travel to perth, western australia to visit our daughter and her family who live there. we'd like to have our own home and freedom rather than stay with them, this is why we joined Geenee. they live in willagee and we would like a home near there or in the fremantle area so we can vist them with ease.
