Spa & Short Walk To Beautiful White Sand Beach

Our Home

The house: We live in a small village of 1300 inhabitants (10 times more during the summer), nestled on a rocky peninsula, surrounded by beautiful beaches. Our house is situated 200 meters from the beach (the one at the bottom of the bay). You can walk there very easily.

The house has two floors, including a bedroom, a lounge, a living room, a kitchen (where you can also eat), a cellar and a toilet on the ground floor. On the second floor, two further bedrooms with single beds, a toilet, an office and a sitting room looking out over a terrace with a beautiful view of the sea. At mezzanine level there is another bedroom with a double bed.At your disposal, if you wish, there is everything necessary for an infant or toddler: high chair, cot, changing table, bath seat, security barrier for the stairs, toys etc)In the garden, the children can play in a pretty wooden playhouse on stilts with a small slide (adapted to infants and toddlers).There is a 140 m²living space and the garden is 1000 m²with a large terrace. The neighbourhood is very calm.

The surrounding area: At the edge of Finistère and Côtes d’Armor départements, the small harbour of Locquirec has a dream location. A destination ideally placed between the Côte de Granit Rose and the bay of Morlaix, you van enjoy all the delights of being by the sea and the charms of Brittany.

The white sandy beaches, Pors ars villiec, Traon ar valin, and the beach at the bottom of the bay, all well protected from the wind, offer calm and relaxation.It’s the meeting place for nautical sports fans: surfing, windsurfing, funboard, kite-surfing, sailing…) and for walkers (sentiers des douaniers GR34).There are also the following activities within close proximity: a sailing club, a sand-yachting club, the flying club of Morlaix, aéro passion (?), tennis, fishing and a horse riding centre.

How to get
By train: the train station in Morlaix is serviced by the TGV. There are more than ten trains a day for Paris, which is 3.5 hours away. there
By plane: There is a local airport only two minutes away from the city centre, with a runway that allows private jets to take off at anytime.
35 minutes away by dual carriage way (towards Brest), Guipavas international airport offers a direct access to world destinations (Brest-Paris: 1h15)

About Us

We are Olivier and Emma, two teachers (a researcher/academic and a nursery school teacher). We have two daughters, Valentine, 7, and Adele who is 5 and a little boy for soon.
We enjoy reading, travelling and discovering new cultures.
We are sporty and we take advantage of living by the sea to go swimming, sailing and fishing.

We are non-smokers.

We do not have any pet, but we love them, so we could look after yours. Don’t be afraid to leave them with us!
We built our house a year ago. We have just finished decorating it and we hope to do our first house exchange this year. We like this spirit of mutual respect and trust. You can be sure we will look after your belongings with even greater care than our own.
