Lovely traditional 1930s home in Lincoln, with lovely views and a huge garden.

Situated in a tree-lined road, within walking distance of the beautiful cathedral and castle in the historic centre of the city.

The house has three double bedrooms, sleeping up to six people, but it is also a lovely, cosy house for just a couple.

It has a modern kitchen and bathroom, and is centrally heated.

It also has a sitting room with a traditional open fire, and a separate dining room with French doors out to a beautiful two hundred feet (70 metres) garden with views over the countryside.


Our Neighbourhood

Lincoln is a beautiful historic city, and is easily accessible.

It is less than two hours by car or train from London; one hour from York, Leeds, Nottingham, and the Peak District.

There are three airports (East Midlands, Doncaster and Leeds) less than an hour away, and London (Stansted or Luton), Birmingham and Manchester airports are also easily accessible (under 2 hours). Hull ferry port is also less than an hour.

Nearby, the cathedral and castle in the historic Bailgate area of Lincoln are unmissable, as is the unspoilt countryside of the Lincolnshire Wolds and the long sandy east coast beaches.

More about us

We are a newly retired couple looking to make a two to three month trip through Europe in Spring 2015, probably travelling through France, Italy, Montenegro , Croatia, Slovenia, then back to the UK through anywhere interesting en- route!

We are looking for any exchanges from a few days to 2 weeks during that time and would plan our journey around any home exchanges in interesting or attractive places.

We are new to home exchanging but are a mature, caring couple, having spent our working lives in education and social services, and would take good care of your home and property.
