Charming Family House

Our Home

Charming semi-detached family house from the 1930s, within walking distance of the centre of the Georgian spa town of Harrogate.

Close to restaurants, cafés, shops, and the famous Harrogate Stray (200 acres of parkland) and the beautiful Valley Gardens.

More about this property

The house has been fully restored to have a modern designer feel, whilst retaining the character of the period property.

There is a large open-plan dining kitchen with full-height glass windows which look out onto the garden, and with French doors opening onto the patio.

A large hall leads to a sitting room (with gas fireplace, DVD player and TV with Netflix and Now TV), together with a snug/games room with flat screen TV (with Now TV) and a stereo system.

WiFi is available.

The house has four bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: Master double bedroom with king-size bed
Bedroom 2: Large single bedroom
Bedroom 3: Single/children's bedroom
Bedroom 4: Children's bedroom

There is a large, modern bathroom with a free-standing roll top bathtub, a separate shower cubicle with a washbasin, and a separate toilet.

Downstairs is an additional toilet, together with a utility room with full laundry facilities.

The house is set in a peaceful cul-de-sac (no through traffic), with off-street parking for one car.

There is a fully enclosed private garden with a large south facing patio, bordered with mature shrubs and trees.

Our Neighbourhood Golf

Harrogate is home to the famous Betty's Tea Room and the unique Turkish Baths which date back to 1896 and were fully restored in 2004.

More about the neighbourhood

In recent years Harrogate has been named three times as ‘The best place to live in the UK': now there's an accolade!

Harrogate boasts art galleries, a wonderful theatre, and the Royal Hall, a beautifully restored kursaal.

Harrogate has easy access to lush, peaceful countryside, is on the doorstep of two national parks (protected for their outstanding natural beauty) and is twenty-five minutes' drive from the City of Leeds and thirty minutes' drive from the medieval walled City of York.

There are numerous mature golf courses in and around Harrogate, various sporting facilities such as tennis, squash, cricket, gyms, horse riding, crown green bowling, and superb spa facilities.

The nearest airport is Leeds Bradford (only twenty minutes by car). Manchester airport offers direct flights to most places, and can be reached by car (one and a half hours) or train.

London is only two hours by train from Harrogate, and Edinburgh three hours by train.
